Election, Issue 10, Film

November 8, 2006

OK, have to run, but here's some stuff to check out:

  • The Austin Asian Film Festival starts today and runs through Sunday. The festival features Asian as well as Asian American film. And some of the screenings are free!
  • In other film news, Visual Communications in LA is accepting applications for Armed with a Camera. Ten folks will win $500 each to complete a 5-minute video, which will be featured at their festival next year. Some of the resulting films have been great. I've even screened a few at my own fest, Slant, in Houston.
