And by Hyphen, I mean me. Although I wish I could bring the rest of my Hyphen family with me!
Today is technically day 0 of my trip out to the University of Maryland, College Park. Am taking a red-eye flight out to Washington. I'm really excited about this trip, not only because I get to visit Washington, DC again, but because I'll get to spend two full days on campus visiting classes and spreading the Hyphen love. This trip could not have been possible without the invitation of the Asian American Studies Program at UMD, and their patience in working out all the logistics with me. So to thank them for their hospitality, I will attempt to blog as much as I can about my experience visiting and jot down any revelations that might hit me.
My flight has been delayed and as you can see here (excuse the low-resolution photo), I've made myself quite comfortable at SFO. You can't tell, but I have my jacket and poncho ready to go because I heard that it's going to be "wintry" out there.
