Jennifer Wofford [1], who was interviewed for the current issue (#14 [2]), also guest-curated for this show, picking some choice bits from the Galleon Trade [3]art exchange for Bay Area Now 5. One of the artists in that show is Michael Arcega [4], who talked to us in issue 9 [5].

Another Asian American artist in Bay Area Now 5 is Misako Inaoka [6], who makes these oddly seductive animal and plant hybrid sculptures.

I haven't been to see the show yet, but I'm excited about it and will definitely make my way over there.

Now, on to New York. Songwriter Goh Nakamura, [7] who played at the Hyphen issue 13 release party, is visiting New York this week and will be playing 2 shows.
