A couple of years ago, there was a burst by media companies trying to capture the elusive "Asian American" market. MTV started three channels -- MTV Chi, MTV Desi and MTV K, targeting Chinese, South Asian and Korean Americans -- that it gave up [1] on last year.

Another one bites the dust, I guess.
