IFC's website says the film will begin screening at the NY IFC Center [1] in September.

Hopefully, "Ping Pong Playa" will branch out to more theaters, even if it is limited to the art-house circuit. Distribution is distribution in my eyes; just ask all the filmmakers who see their work go straight to DVD. Congrats to Yu (an Oscar [2] winner and San Francisco Bay Area native to boot) and the cast!
