The Asian Law Caucus [1] and San Francisco Immigrant Legal and Education Network [2] will kick off a Bay Area campaign for humane immigration reform, with a community town hall on International Migrants' Day. Advocates will urge Congressional leaders to fight for a just and compassionate immigration system.

Inspired by the injustice of human and child trafficking, APIA Hip Hop and R&B musicians, activists, and chefs are joining forces to benefit Aid For Children Without Parent [9]'s (ACWP) "Saving Children in Crisis " program. The concert will feature Magnetic North [10], Vudoo Soul [11], Geunjin [12], Taiyo Na [13], Denizen Kane [14], and more. More info here [8].

Sulu Series [15], a monthly showcase of up-and-coming and established APIA performance artists, presents a special "Hapa" edition. Featuring rapper Koba [16], spoken word artist Michelle Myers of Yellow Rage [4], musician Jared Rehberg [17], writer/performer Samantha Chanse [18], and Una Osato. Co-sponsored by Loving Day [19], with proceeds benefiting the Catalyst Foundation [20], which aims to improve the lives of at-risk populations in Vietnam through anti-child trafficking work and community capacity building.
