Jake Shimabukuro Covers "Bohemian Rhapsody"
If you have the latest issue of Hyphen [1] -- and you should -- then most likely you've gotten your swoon on over cover model Jake Shimabukuro, ukelele player extraordinaire and subject of a forthcoming documentary by filmmaker Tad Nakamura [2].
To get you amped for what looks to be a film that you can actually rock out to with your parents present and not have it be awkward, Tad sent over a video of one of Jake's music performances while shooting footage in Hiroshima, Japan. Below is a beautifully shot black-and-white clip of the artist's equally beautiful rendition of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody." You know, because that song is, like, super simple to recreate especially with just four strings.
Commence swooning.
