Here’s a story at New California Media about Asian American students being harassed in an Oakland school. Parents had to get a Chinese-language newspaper involved before the school administrators would do anything about it. You Can't Snitch If You Can't Speak

Remember the infamous Miss Jones who mocked Tsunami victims on the radio? She still has a job in radio, and she's still saying stupid, racist stuff. This time, her target is Caribbean immigrants. Miss Jones Hasn't Learned a Thing

Also, Hyphen was included in this new travel book about SF: San Francisco: The Unknown City. It's not your typical guidebook with listings of the same old same old. Instead, it has a lot of tidbits about places, people and things that even locals may not know about. Read a brief review of the book here.
