Norm Chow candidate to coach Cardinals

Chow, who engineered the offenses for collegiate national championship teams while at USC, was a finalist two years ago to be head football coach at Stanford, which recently fired Walt Harris, who got the job over Chow.

If hired by the Cardinals, I believe Chow would be the first Asian American head coach in the NFL and one of the few minorties to hold a top job.

From my impression Hyphen announces and celebrates the achievements of members of the Asian American Community whether they be leaders artists athletes or coaches. This topic is relevant to what I see as Hyphen's mission.

Norm Chow coached Lienart at USC. He is an Offensive Wizard, which is a big reason Tennesee had as much success as they did the second half of the season. With the firing of Dennis Green, Norm Chow would be 1, of 5 Minority head coaches in the NFL. There are 32 teams. The other coaches are Black American.

I think Norm Chow is really just interested in making sure he has a job. He interviews for head coaching positions because it's a potential job. Now that Tennessee has told him he has a job for 2007, I don't think he cares that much if he gets the Arizona head coaching position. But there's no question he knows how to develop quarterbacks and make an offense go.

Assuming the resposibilities of a head coaching job can be extremely awarding if you have perennial success, or extremely dissastrious if you dont. He would play it safe if he just stayed at Tennessee, if he went to Arizona theres a risk. Arizona is loaded with young talent and can go far with the right coaching.
