Jenny Xie is a recent graduate of the MFA program at Johns Hopkins University, where she taught creative writing. Her work has appeared in Front Porch Journal, Necessary Fiction, Ninth Letter, PANK, and Adroit Journal, among others. Her awards include honorable mentions from Glimmer Train and Gulf Coast, the Driftless Prize from Devil's Lake, and Narrative's 30 Below Story Contest.
