David Henry Hwang's 'Yellow Face' Debuts

December 12, 2007

The play revolves around Hwang himself and the 1990 protest he led – and then lost interest in – about using white actors in Miss Saigon, and then takes on global relations, anti-Chinese sentiment and more. Sounds great. Anyone out there seen it yet? Any fans/critics of Hwang wanna chime in?

Amazing play. Every asian-american must see this play. Like a finely tuned instrument, Hwang describes the intricacies of race politics that is unprecedented and has been a long time coming. Finally.
