Night Market at Stanford

April 12, 2007

WHEN: Friday, April 13th, 2007, 5:30PM - 8PM

WHERE: White Plaza, Stanford University

It looks like there'll be A TON of food and drinks there (my mouth is watering as I type this list). We're looking at zong zi, oyster pancake, Taiwanese sausage, minced pork on rice, Tainan noodles, tea eggs, spring rolls, egg rolls, samosas, dumplings, Japanese rice mixed with vegetables and meat, Korean cup noodles, mochi ice cream, banana fritters, sticky rice with mango, mochi, and egg tarts, just to name a "few."

There will also be games, such as henna tattoos, DDR, calligraphy, yo-yo, Chinese chess, origami, toh-kang, and even an educational game about Hepatitis B with prize giveaways!

After all the grubbing, you can just head over to Dinkelspiel Auditorium to catch performances by Stanford Taiko, Guzheng and Erhu, Bih Tau Sung and the Dancing Sun Foundation, Stanford Kayumanggi, Taiwanese Ribbon Dance, Johnny Hi-Fi, Hindi Film Dance, Stanford Wushu, Amos Chen, Isaac Wang, Andy Ho, and the West Coast Lion Dance Troupe.

Palo Alto, here we come!
