  • Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra, CA presents Nature of Water (An Art Exhibition Inspired by the Philosophies of Bruce Lee). The show features more than 40 artists, including Hyphen's own Cielo Oreste, who served as our art director for many years. (You can see her work, along with that of our director of photography) on the cover of the most recent issue of Hyphen, the Hybrid Issue. The show runs through January 22.
  • Slant, a shorts film festival that I work on, is looking for entries. The festival showcases Asian American short films and plays in Houston this May and June. The entry deadline is February 22nd. Details here.
