Gov. Bobby Jindal's Speech Criticized, Kenneth the Page Responds

And he does sound like Kenneth the Page from 30 Rock to me.

The Bobby Jindal is Kenneth the Page Facebook group has more than 10,000 members.

All kidding aside, he was a rising star in the GOP, and he's the first Asian American to be a serious contender for the White House that I can remember. Safe to say many Hyphen readers would disagree with Jindal's politics, but having an Indian American even mentioned as a presidential candidate is a big deal. Wonder if he can ride out this criticism?

Personally, I didnt think he did as bad as the critics pointed out. I thought he did ok, I have seen him do impromptu speeches, which I think is his strong point. Following behind a gifted orator like Obama wouldve been tough for anyone, sorry it had to be Jindal. We will see.

Seems the story Jindal told about talking to Sheriff Harry Lee during the height of the Hurricane Katrina crisis wasn't entirely true.Jindal wasn't even in the hurricane zone when the supposed conversation took place and heard later about Lee's complaints about bureaucrats keeping rescue boats from going out.Various blogs have been punching holes in the story all week.So yeah, Jindal's got some damage control to do.
