Philippine Independence Day Parade

phillippine paradesmall.JPGThis celebration for the Northeast Filipino American community, home to more than 500,000 Filipinos, raises awareness of Philippine culture and money for charities in the United States and the Philippines. The parade ends with a Culture Festival from 2 to 6 pm at Madison Square Park, with food, crafts and performances. A Filipino street fair and food festival will also take place. More info here.
