This course is for those interested in reading short works by major American writers, and in writing their own short stories. The workshop will examine how themes of identity and race have evolved in American literature, and how it can inform your own work. For writers of all levels. Parameswaran's short stories have appeared in McSweeney's Quarterly, Zoetrope, and elsewhere.
