H.P. Mendoza's 'Fruit Fly' at Frameline33

The film musical follows Bethesda, an Asian American woman who searches
for her biological parents while living in an artists' commune in San
Francisco's gay-friendly Castro district. Check out Momo's review of Fruit Fly from this year's SFIAAFF.

The film's genres are listed as "Asian, Drama, Gay, Latino, Lesbian, Music/Music Video, Musical." If that's not diverse enough for you, then I don't know what is.
