Asian American Actors on a Blog Near You

August 11, 2009

Lynn Chen, from Saving Face and the soon to be in limited release White on Rice (September 4), contributes to The Actor's Diet blog which follows the fun, non-irritating prandial trends of Chen and fellow Hollywood actress Christy Meyers (who's also a nutritional counselor). I'm hoping they'll eventually venture over to Gwyneth Paltrow's GOOP newsletter and advise her on how to take it down a notch...

The Actor's Diet Twitter feed also retweets what other actors — most recently anyone from Marlee Matlin to Denise Richards — are (Tw)eating.

Over at You Offend Me, You Offend My Family, director Justin Lin and pals — including Better Luck Tomorrow actors Sung Kang and Roger Fan — wax philosophic on just about everything...and I do mean everything. Check out Fan's recent post on being an Asian American actor in Hollywood and the new Red Dawn remake.

If actors fighting their way through a cutthroat Hollywood system have time to blog, shouldn't you have time to support them with some website hits? We know you're not really working at your desk or studying in that library anyway.

I'm an Asian American actor in New York. A couple of weeks ago I started a blog dedicated to the Asian American Actor. I feature different Asian American Actors, Acting Audition Tips, and give a peak into the actor's lifestyle. I'm not a name or even a full time working actor yet, but I will be one day. Check out my journey at www.asianamericanactor.com-Asian American Actor
I enjoy this site, it is worth me coming back
