Bao Phi, William Wong, and more

September 7, 2009

And finally, we have two prominent Asian American pop
culture/hip-hop/music writers weighing in on the much
tweeted/facebooked about Roxanne Shante PhD story. Read Jeff Chang's
(Can't Stop Won't Stop) reaction to Slate's gotcha's piece here, and Hua Hsu's (correspondent at the Atlantic) response (full disclosure: Hua is a friend), in part to Chang's piece. All of this in response to the original story at the NY Daily News. Oh yeah, and there's a lot of comments to look at on Chang's blog. Chang's most recent post discusses the implications of Van Jones' resignation.
Any other interesting posts/blogs popping up on your radar?
(And finally, just for the record, I am spending way too much time on facebook and reading stuff online).

I've been blogging about relationships (family, romantic, platonic, societal), but I accept that my blog might suck. It's called Shut Up and Love.
