Lust for Write Fiction Workshop with Ed Lin

Ed Lin, author of the novels Snakes Can't Run (2010), This is A Bust (2007), and Waylaid (2002), is offering a summer fiction workshop suitable for writers of all levels. Armed With a Camera Fellowship

Visual Communications (VC) is annoucning its "Armed with a Camera" Fellowship for aspiring filmmakers, to cultivate a new generation of Asian Pacific American media artists. The fellowship will award up to ten fellows $500 to complete a five-minute digital video of their world, surroundings, and outlook on life, which will be shown at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival and other nationwide venues. VC will also mentor, train, and provide networking opportunities for fellows. Eligibility info and application details here. Application deadline: October 1, 2010.
