Christen Marquez, a Native Hawaiian of mixed heritage and emerging documentary filmmaker, will perform and screen her film-in-progress Haku Inoa for PBS about her journey towards understanding her Hawaiian name.

Filipina Women's Network Search for Nominations
The Filipina Women's Network (FWN) is accepting nominations for The FWN 100, a nationwide search for the 100 most influential Filipina women in the US. Part of FWN's "Pinay Power 2012" project, the campaign seeks to identify Filipina women who are shaping the Filipino community's influence within American society at large. The chosen 100 will also be encouraged to "womentor" another Filipina, who will accompany them to the 2012 Filipina Summit. Complete info including nomination form here.
