The sketch comedy collective 18 Mighty Mountain Warriors presents their new show Bow Down to Your Asian Masters, with sketches ranging from David Carradine and Bruce Lee debating kung fu in the afterlife to "how to serve your Asian masters properly." Show runs through August 23rd.

Brownstar Unification: A Demonstration for Peace
Artists of every medium will come together to explore tensions of the motherlands, celebrate 62 years of independence, and promote conversation on moving towards a more peaceful, unified South Asia. Featuring performances from comedian Hari Kondabolu, poet/singer/scholar Fawzia Afzal-Khan, spoken word duo BROWNSTAR, and others. Proceeds will benefit Seeds of Peace, an organization working to foster dialogue and reconciliation between Indian and Pakistani youth leaders.

Stories of Our Communities: Immigration Community Survey
The National Asian Pacific American Women's Forum (NAPAWF) has created the Immigration Community Survey as part of its "Immigration is HERStory and Our Story" campaign. The aim is to capture diverse API immigrant women's narratives,w hich are rarely depicted in mainstream media, and to elevate immigrant API women's issues. The survey takes about 8-10 minutes to complete and can be accessed here.
