Wong Fu, FMTM, A Song For Ourselves

February 17, 2009

* Last but not least, the mixtape from A Song For Ourselves, Tad Nakamura's new short film about Chris Iijima, is available to download for free. The late Iijima was a cultural worker and is best known for being a part of the Asian American Movement band, Yellow Pearl/A Grain of Sand. The mixtape includes mixes of Yellow Pearl songs with our current cultural workers, namely Blue Scholars, Kiwi and Bambu. Also, be sure to check out the film's opening in L.A. on February 28. !
