You want to be there this Thursday when CAAM teams up with Locus@KSW for a partnership so lethal, they'd make Danny Glover and Mel Gibson sweat.
At 111 Minna in San Francisco, the duo will gather and present the launch party that kicks off the 2010 San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival and the 3rd Annual DIY Music Video Contest. Pow-factors include music video screening, live performances and hot-off-the-printer program guides for the upcoming festival.
The 28th SFIAAFF will run from March 11 through the 21st, while the DIY Music Video teams are competing for a spot in the festival. Be among the first to see a slate of new Asian American music videos, vote for your favorites and mingle with the cool people from these organizations. It's okay, too, if you want to show a little love for Hyphen's own Fairy Godmother Melissa Hung, who will be making her directorial debut with one of the DIY Music Video teams.
