The mission of CYC iso empower and strengthen high-need Asain youth by providing comprehensive youth development through education, employment training, advocacy, and other support services. Join editor Brian Komei Dempster of Making Home From War and illustrator Felicia Hoshino of My Dog Teny in a creative collaboration workshop. Bring a friend or family member and a memory that may be in the form of a photo, a letter, an artifact, or short writing reflection. Come create a recollection of life before, during, or after WWII to share with others. No experience necessary.

Suite, Suite Chinatown

A group of artistically diverse, award-winning Chinese Canadian filmmakers were presented with a challenge: answer the question, “What is your Chinatown?” on film. The result is a collaboratively produced, multi-genre cinematic vision of Chinatown. Accompanied by a live performance by Bay Area musician Jack Tung and others. Project Directed by Aram Siu Wai Collier. Suite Suite Chinatown is also a special shorts program of the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival (SFIAAFF). More info here.
