Hyphen at SF Zine Fest

August 18, 2009

Our workshop is on Sunday, August 23, from 2:45 to 3:45 at the San Francisco County Fair Building in Golden Gate Park, at 9th Avenue and Lincoln Way. If you've ever wondered how a bunch of journalists and artists were able to start a scrappy little mag with no money and keep it going for 7 years, this is your chance to hear the story in person and ask us questions about why-in-your-right-minds would anyone would want to do such a silly and stressful thing. Kidding! Sort of. It's been stressful. But also lots of fun.

There are more workshops on all sorts of DIY topics, from bookbinding to screen printing, not to mention zines and comics galore to peruse. And it's all free! Hope to see you there.
