With eight days left to go in his Kickstarter campaign, Tony Nguyen, whose debut documentary Enforcing the Silence explored the murder of a Vietnamese American community organizer, is seeking support for his next documentary, Giap and the Last Ironing Board Factory. According to his Kickstarter page, this documentary takes Tony back to his hometown of Seymour, IN, where he "captures his mother Giap’s last day at the factory and attempts to reconcile an unknown past in this quirky and deeply personal film that explores parental love and the refugee experience in small town America."

Tony hopes to reach his budget goal of $10,000 to cover final post-production costs and distribution expenses, including footage and music rights, master tapes, DVDs, festival fees,
